In this article, we will let you know about it.

But, before, let’s understand Google AdSense in brief.

AdSense is the most popular ad network, currently, that serves billions of ads to millions of websites each day because they have the largest advertiser base through Google Ads. As it is free to use, content creators just need to focus on creating content.

Once they meet the requirements of AdSense, they need to apply. After AdSense approves the application, they provide ad codes to the publisher. The ad publisher only needs to paste the ad codes to their website header. Then according to the ad type, sometimes they get paid for the clicks and sometimes as per the ad views.

AdSense has some sophisticated technologies that allow them to show the most relevant ads to your website content as well as the user interest and previous searches.

Now, let’s come to the point,

Can Google AdSense affect your search ranking?

If you take words of Google itself, integrating Google AdSense codes into your site does not have any side effects on ranking on search engines. Neither they do anything positive to your rankings. In fact, according to Google, does all things in a completely unbiased manner so there is no chance of affectation. But, here is something else that might happen with AdSense.

As mentioned above, AdSense provides codes to integrate into your site. When you integrate them, it shows different types of ads on your content. Now, when someone comes to your site, your web pages load. All the content of your page is firstly downloaded. As you have AdSense codes on your site, they also get loaded along with the HTML and other files.

To show the relevant ads, AdSense traces the IP and other information. Fort that time, it may take additional time to load your website. The ads that would show on your site also take time to load. That definitely increases the load time of your website or webpage.

However, the time of loading is very little, but still, it is.

Now, according to Google or any other search engine, loading time is the major ranking factor. You can check, any website that is up o the search results has lightning-fast loading speed.

If you see it technically, a website that has everything the same but hasn’t used Google AdSense on it will load faster than the site with the same configuration. However, that does not mean that it will surely rank higher because there are many other factors that together improve your search rankings.
