The Redmi Y2 mobile phone was launched on June 2018 under their budget phone segment Redmi. Xiaomi launched a Smartphone named Redmi S2 in China in May 2018, and the Redmi Y2 is the rebranding of the Smartphone Xiaomi introduces high-end specifications packed phones on their Redmi series. Like all other Redmi series Smartphones like Redmi 6A, Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro and others, this Redmi Y2 has lots of impressive features inside. Redmi Y2 mobile phone design:
The back of Redmi Y2 has metallic brush finish. On the hand, the phone feels very premium. It looks like metal, but the phone is made from plastic which makes it lightweight — the mobile phone measures 160.7 x 77.3 x 8.1 mm and 170 gm in weight. The Redmi Y2 sports a 5.99 inch IPS LCD HD+ display with the aspect ratio of 18:9. The resolution of the display is 720×1440 pixels and screen to body ratio is 74.5 %.
On the Redmi Y2, you will not see the 2.5D curved glass but Note 5 Pro has that, and the screen of Note 5 pro is a FULL HD+ screen.
Redmi Y2 Processor and memory:
Redmi Y2 runs on 8.1 Oreo and t is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 Processor. It is an octa-core chipset. Y2 comes in two storage variants; 3GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt memory and 4GB RAM and 64GB inbuilt. The inbuilt memory can be expanded up to 256GB through a microSD slot.
The camera of Xiaomi Redmi Y2:
The Xiaomi Redmi Y2 has the dual camera set up at the back. The primary camera is of 12 megapixels and f/2.2 aperture, and secondary depth sensor camera is of 5 megapixels. For taking selfies a 16 megapixels sensor has given. With the rear camera, you can shoot 1080 pixels videos at 30 fps. As this phone is a youth-centric phone LED flash as given in front as well as the rear.
