Vivo Y31 launched in India with 48MP AI triple camera

To expanded its youthful Y series, the Chinese smartphone company Vivo on Wednesday has launched the Vivo Y31 in India at Rs 16,490.

The new Vivo Y31 comes with a host of interesting features like electronic image stabilization, Snapdragon 662 SoC, 6GB RAM, 48MP tiple-rear camera setup, and more.

The phone features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) LCD display along with a waterdrop-style display notch. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 SoC and coupled with 6GB of RAM. It will be running on Android 11-based Funtouch OS 11 software.

Coming to the camera features, the Vivo Y31 comes with a triple rear camera set up that includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor coupled with an f/1.79 lens. The camera setup also includes a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor with an f/2.4 lens and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens. On the front, you will get a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calling with an f/2.0 lens. Moreover, The new Vivo phone comes with electronic image stabilization (EIS) feature that can correct unstable movements while recording videos.

In terms of battery, the phone is fuelled by a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charge technology. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, and a USB Type-C port. In addition to this, the handset features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on board.

Vivo Y31 price in India has been set at Rs. 16,490 for the single 6GB + 128GB storage variant. The phone comes in Ocean Blue and Racing Black color options and will be available for purchase through Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, and Vivo India E-Store, as well as across all major offline retail stores in the country.
