boAT launches first smartwatch in India, price starts at Rs 1999

Audio company boAt has launched its first-ever smartwatch in India. The newly launched boAt Storm smartwatch comes with a price tag of Rs 1,999.

According to the company, the new smartwatch is specially designed for fitness geeks who perform high-intensity workouts and require precise health and fitness monitoring.

In terms of specifications, the new boAt Storm smartwatch comes with a 1.3-inch colored full capacitive touch display. The device also in-built SpO2, that can monitors the real-time blood oxygen level in the body and 24/7 heart rate monitor. As well as, it also comes with features including breathing exercise, a stress level calculator, and a menstrual cycle tracker. The company claiming that the smartwatch will deliver up to 10 days of battery life, and up to 30 days of standby time.

The boat Storm smartwatch will be available on Flipkart and boAt’s official website on October 29, during the Flipkart Diwali Sale. It will be sold in two colors, including black and Blue. The boAt Storm smartwatch comes with a 5ATM water resistance that keeps the watch safe from water splashes and sweat.

The smartwatch comes with nine active sports modes including Running, Walking, Cycling, Hiking, Climbing, Fitness, Treadmill, Yoga, and Dynamic Cycling.

Besides that, there is also a Find My Phone feature and you can check all your phone’s notifications on the smartwatch. However, to set up and control the watch, the users will have to download the boAt ProGear app.
