Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G to launch in India on April 27: Check expected specifications
Global smartphone brand Xiaomi confirmed the launch date of its upcoming flagship smartphone Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G in India on Tuesday. Xiaomi India posted a tweet sharing the launch details of the new Xiaomi flagship. The smartphone will be launched on April 27 in the country.

The Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G was first introduced globally in the month of March. In the company’s home country China, the device was launched last year in December. It is expected that the India variant will also come with the same specifications.

Xiaomi 12 Pro 5G features a 6.73-inch E5 AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC. The smartphone runs Google’s Android 12 operating system with the company’s latest MIUI 13 skins on top.
As far as optics are concerned, the handset houses a triple camera setup on the rear comprising of a 50MP Sony IMX707 primary sensor, a 50MP telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultra-wide shooter. For selfies, the smartphone carries a 32MP sensor at the front.
In terms of connectivity, the handset supports – 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. The phone is backed by a 4,600mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
