Tecno Pova 2 has officially launched in India today. The device was first unveiled in the Philippines market in June. The Tecno Pova 2 arrives as a successor to the Tecno Pova smartphone which was introduced by Tecno last year. The newly launched Tecno Pova 2 comes with some interesting features such as; MediaTek Helio G85 processor, a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup, a 7,000mAh battery, and many more.

The phone features a 6.95-inch Full-HD+ (1,080×2,460 pixels) display with a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The display panel has a standard 60Hz refresh rate. The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC, paired with a Mali G52 GPU, up to 6GB of RAM, and up to 128GB of onboard storage.
As for the software, the device runs Android 11 out of the box. The newly launched Tecno Pova 2 has the company’s built-in ‘HyperEngine Game Technology’ that is claimed to give Tecno Pova 2 “high-end graphic crunching, making it apt even for heavy gaming.”

In terms of photography, the Pova 2 is handled by a quad-camera setup. The rear-facing camera module consists of a 48MP primary main camera, 2MP depth sensor, 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP AI lens. For selfies and video-calling purposes, the phone sports an 8MP camera.
Under the hood, the phone packs a large 7,000mAh battery with 18W Flash Charge fast charging support. In terms of connectivity, the device includes dual-SIM support, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. The Tecno Pova 2 also sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and comes with a face unlock feature.

Tecno Pova 2 price in India starts at Rs 10,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant, while the 6GB RAM model with 128GB storage will retail for Rs 12,999. However, the models will be available for Rs. 10,499 and Rs. 12,499, respectively, as part of a launch offer for a limited period of time. The device will be available for purchase via Amazon starting from August 5th. The handset comes in Silver, Black, and Blue color options.
