Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda come together for Shiva Nirvana’s new film VD 11

Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Vijay Deverakonda are all set to team up for Shiva Nirvana’s new untitled film ‘VD 11’. On April 21, the yet-untitled film was launched at a formal muhurat event in Hyderabad in a big way. While Vijay Deverakonda attended the launch, Samantha gave it a miss as she is currently in Dubai. Vijay donned traditional attire to be part of the project’s mahurat event.

Announcing the launch, Mythri Movie Makers wrote on Twitter, “#VD11 Launched Our Heartthrob @TheDeverakonda & Queen @Samanthaprabhu2 reunite for a Family Entertainer under the direction of @ShivaNirvana Music by @HeshamAWMusic Shoot begins this month! #VD11Launch (sic).”

Earlier, Samantha and Vijay Deverakonda had shared screen space in director Nag Ashwin’s Mahanati. This untitled film will mark their second collaboration.

According to reports, the film directed by Shiva Nirvana will go on floors on April 23 in Kashmir, and the title, first look posters, cast and crew, and more details will be announced in the days to come.

Meanwhile, on the work front, the Arjun Reddy actor will be seen as a soldier in Puri Jagannadhs directorial ‘Jana Gana Mana’ (JGM). Also, his movie ‘Liger’ will hit the screens this year.

Samantha, on the other hand, has a long line-up, which includes her multilingual project ‘Yashoda’ and ‘Shakuntalam’.
