Realme GT Neo 2 launch set for September 22, Company confirms

Chinese smartphone maker Realme has confirmed that the GT Neo 2 will launch in China on September 22. The device will launch as a successor of the original GT Neo, which was launched earlier this year. The GT Neo was launched in India as the X7 Max. As per the poster on Weibo, Realme confirmed that the GT Neo 2 launch event will take place at local time (11.30 am IST) on September 22.

According to some leaked sources, the phone might be a 6.62-inch Full HD+ display. The leaked design also renders reveal that the phone has a hole-punch cutout on the top left corner of the screen. The device will run Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0. The phone could be pack with a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging support.

On the back, the Realme GT Neo 2 is rumored to sport a triple-camera setup. It will have a 64MP primary camera, coupled with an 8MP ultrawide sensor and a 2MP tertiary sensor, which is likely a macro lens. For selfies, the phone will have a 16MP front camera sensor.
