Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer Badhaai Do trailer to be released tomorrow

On Monday morning, Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, and the team of ‘Badhaai Do’ announced that the trailer of their film will be out on January 25. Directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni, it is a sequel to the National Award-winning 2018 film, Badhaai Ho. In addition, the makers also unveiled the new poster of the film where Bhumi and Rajkummar were dressed as bride and groom.

Sharing the poster on Twitter, Bhumi wrote, “Arre yaar, ab toh ye secret kal out ho jayega ! Kyuki kal aa raha hai hamara trailer aur hum aa rahe hai theatres main. Hey bhagwan, I am very excited #BadhaaiDoTrailer #BadhaaiDoInCinemas (sic).”

Backed by Junglee Pictures, ‘Badhaai Do’ is written by Akshat Ghildial and Suman Adhikary. In ‘Badhai Do’, Rajkummar will be essaying the role of a cop in a Mahila police thana, while Bhumi will play the role of a PT teacher in the film. Apart from Rajkummar and Bhumi, the film will also feature Seema Pahwa, Sheeba Chadha, Lovleen Mishra, Nitish Pandey, Shashi Bhushan, and others in prominent roles.

‘Badhaai Do’ is scheduled to hit the theatres on February 4, 2022. Earlier, the film was supposed to release on Republic Day 2022, but the makers postponed it to February.
