Oppo Watch 2 launched in China with Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC: Know the price and specifications
The Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has finally launched the Oppo Watch 2 in China on Yesterday, July 27. The new smartwatch comes as the successor to the original Oppo Watch that was unveiled in March last year. As an upgrade to the last year’s model, the Oppo Watch 2 carries Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 4100 SoC. The smartwatch is claimed to deliver up to 16 days of battery life. It also comes with a custom chip and many new features.

Oppo Watch 2 specifications and features:
The Oppo Watch 2 comes with a rectangular dial in 42mm and 46mm sizes. There are narrow bezels around the display, much like the Apple Watch. Both options come with an AMOLED display, 326ppi of pixel density, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 3D glass protection on top.
The wearable draws power from a Snapdragon 4100 SoC. There is also a custom Apollo 4s co-processor that is developed by Ambiq. It also comes with an Ultra Dynamic Dual Engine (UDDE) technology that claims to offer better battery life.
The smartwatch supports 24-hour heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, sleep tracking and analysis, risk assessment, stress monitoring, etc. The Oppo Watch 2 runs on ColorOS Watch 2.0 based on Android.
The smartwatch is claimed to offer up to 16 days of battery life on a single charge. There is also Watch VOOC fast charging technology that is rated to deliver up to one hour of usage in as low as 10 minutes of charge.
Oppo Watch 2 pricing and availability:
The new Oppo smartwatch comes in two sizes – 42mm and 46mm. The 42mm comes in Bluetooth-only and e-SIM models. The Bluetooth-only 42mm model is priced at CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs 14,900), whereas the eSIM variant is priced at CNY 1,499 (roughly Rs 17,100). The 46mm model is priced at CNY 1,999 (roughly Rs 22,900). It comes in Black and Blue color options. All three versions are initially available for pre-bookings in China, with their sale planned for August 6. However, details about the global launch and pricing of the Oppo Watch 2 are yet to be revealed.
