iQOO Neo 7 confirmed to launch with MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC on October 20

iQOO has officially announced that it will launch its latest smartphone iQOO Neo 7 in China on October 20. As per the report, the launch event will begin at 7 pm local time (4:30 PM IST). A dedicated microsite on iQOO’s China website is also teasing the specifications of the device.

The Chinese smartphone brand also confirmed that the smartphone will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ chipset. The chipset is a significant upgrade over the Neo 6 in India, which features a Snapdragon 870 SoC.

iQOO Neo 7 specifications (expected):

As per past leaks, the iQoo Neo 7 is said to feature a 6.62-inch display panel with a punch-hole camera in the top center. For photography, the smartphone is expected to come with a triple rear camera setup that offers a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 12MP portrait telephoto lens.

The iQOO Neo 7 is expected to house a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging. Other features of the phone could include an optical fingerprint scanner, IR blaster, and NFC.
