Indian digital financial platform Freecharge marks 10 years of its success

India’s No.1 payments app Freecharge has completed its 10 years of business in India on 14th August, 2020.

Kunal Shah the founder of Freecharge was create the Freecharge in August 2010 with Sandeep Tandon.

On 27 July 2017, it was officially reported that Axis Bank bought out Freecharge for $60 million and now it is wholly owned by subsidiary of Axis Bank Limited.

Freecharge services are available across a wide range of financial services. The company’s main aims is to create an ecosystem of innovative products and features that enables cashless transactions. Customers across the country can using FreeCharge to make prepaid, postpaid, DTH, metro recharge and utility bill payments for numerous service providers.
