The 40th edition of GITEX Technology Week is a milestone event that will gather technology leaders from across the world and is a testament to the UAE’s status as a global innovation hub. GITEX will be the world’s only major live, in-person technology event of 2020, and represents Dubai’s huge progress in restarting the city’s world-class MICE sector.

On this biggest event, Huawei has strengthened its commitment to the UAE technology ecosystem with a set to focus on connectivity, cloud, AI, computing, and industrial applications.

Huawei is working with its partners to apply ICT technologies to digitalize various industries such as government, utilities, oil and gas, transportation, finance, and more and providing scenario-specific solutions to help enterprises grow their businesses and enable the government to achieve their strategic national digital transformation goals.

Jiawei Liu, CEO of Huawei UAE, said, “We are thrilled to be part of this milestone 40th edition of GITEX Technology Week, an event we have always found to be of great value to our customers, partners, and business. It is an important platform to showcase to the region and to the world some of the most significant emerging technologies – whether in the area of enterprise connectivity, enterprise IT, 5G, cloud and AI, or consumer devices.

“We are keen to extend our presence this year at GITEX and look forward to connecting with global industry leaders as well as local partners to explore more directions for supporting the digital transformation of the UAE. In addition, we are glad to be part of the collaborative efforts aimed at building the ICT ecosystem in the UAE to inject more progress in vertical industries as part of the socio-economic recovery needed at this stage around the world.”
