Fossil Gen 5E Smartwatch launched in India with Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC

To expanded its smartwatch portfolio in India, Fossil yesterday it has launched Fossil Gen 5E Smartwatch in India with Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC. The Gen 5E is a toned-down version of the Fossil Gen 5 that launched in India in November 2019. In fact, the Fossil Gen 5E was launched in Western markets in October 2020. The new Fossil Gen 5E Smartwatch comes with a host of interesting features like quick charge, 3ATM water resistance, and heart rate monitoring, and more.

Fossil Gen 5E specifications and features:

The Fossil Gen 5E comes in two sizes- 44mm for Men and 42mm for Women. The smartwatch features a 1.19-inch AMOLED display that has a 390×390 pixels resolution and a pixel density of 328ppi. It is powered by the Snapdragon Wear 3100 SoC, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of storage.

According to the company, the battery can last for more than 24 hours. With quick charging, the Gen 5E can be charged to 80 percent in 50 minutes.

Coming to the fitness side of things, you get trackers for heart rate, steps taken, distance traveled, calories burnt, and more. Other things in the mix are 3ATM water resistance, a built-in speaker, mic, Google Assistant, and real-time notification sync.
