Asus 8z launched in India with Snapdragon 888 SoC: Know the price and specifications
Taiwanese electronic brand Asus today launched its much-anticipated smartphone Asus 8z in India. The new Asus phone debuted in Europe and Taiwan as the ZenFone 8 last year. The Asus 8z comes with dual rear cameras and an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC.
Asus 8z price in India and availability:
Asus 8z price in India has been set at Rs. 42,999 for the single 8GB+128GB storage variant. The smartphone will be available for purchase through Flipkart starting at 12 pm (noon) on March 7. It will be available in Obsidian Black and Horizon Silver color options.
Asus 8z specifications and features:
The phone features a 5.9-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. There is also Gorilla Glass Victus on the front to protect the screen from scratches. Under the hood, the handset is powered by the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt memory.

In terms of optics, the phone comes with a dual rear camera that includes a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary sensor, along with a 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 secondary sensor with an ultra-wide lens. At the front, the handset carries a 12-megapixel camera with a Sony IMX663 lens for selfies and video chats.
For the connectivity, the Asus 8z supports – 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS/ NavIC, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. For biometric authentication, there is also an under-display fingerprint sensor has included on this phone. In terms of battery, Asus packed a 4,000mAh battery on this smartphone which supports 30W fast charging.
