Akshay Kumar’s upcoming film Prithviraj gets a new release date

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Prithviraj’, which was previously set to release on June 10, got a new release date and will be out on June 3 instead.

Sharing the big news, Akshay revealed that the movie will be out in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Akshay had even shared a poster of the movie and captioned it as, “Elated to announce that Samrat #Prithviraj Chauhan’s grand saga is arriving sooner to the big screen on 3rd June in Hindi, Tamil & Telugu. @ManushiChhillar @duttsanjay @SonuSood #DrChandraprakashDwivedi @yrf #YRF50 #Prithviraj3rdJune (sic).”

‘Prithviraj’ is a historical drama based on the life of warrior king Prithviraj Chauhan. In the film, Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. The film also marks Manushi Chillar’s Bollywood debut who will play the role of Princess Sanyogita.

Apart from Akshay and Manushi, ‘Prithviraj’ will also star Sonu Sood and Sanjay Dutt in key roles.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, ‘Prithviraj’ is being directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi. The film is slated to release on June 3, 2022.

Meanwhile, On the professional front, Akshay Kumar has several projects in his kitty. He will be seen in ‘Bachchan Paandey’, ‘Raksha Bandhan’, ‘Ram Setu’, ‘OMG 2’, and ‘Bade Miyaan Chote Miyaan’.
