Due to the massive rise in the number of coronavirus cases in the state, the patients in the financial capital of India are continuously struggling to reach the hospital due to a shortage of ambulance.

46 ambulances have been donated to BMC in the presence of Puneet Goenka, CEO of ZEE Entertainment in BKC, Mumbai. At this time, Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and cabinet ministers Aditya Thackeray and Eknath Shinde were present.
