YouTube To Show Time Stamped Images Of A Video If It Has Chapters
To provide the users with more precise and accurate information from the videos, YouTube is now going to show the timestamps of the video chapters.
YouTube brings new functionalities and features to deliver the YouTuibe search experience better and conveniently. In order to serve more accurate information, YouTube introduced the chapter option on their videos. That allows people to watch a specific portion of the video.
Adding the additional thumbnail image to the videos also provides more information.
Now, when someone searches for a video, YouTube will show the thumbnails of the specific chapters. Not only that, YouTube will time stamp the video.
Typically, when a creator makes videos, it may contain many other portions besides the main context. Now, viewers who are likely to land to the exact portion can directly watch that part without playing the whole video.
According to YouTube, the new feature will be available directly on the search page itself. However, the update is still not available. Still, when the update rolls out, people will be able to make more informed decisions as it will provide additional information about the video.
As YouTube will provide snapshots of each chapter, creators might be required to add separate thumbnail images for each section.
