YouTube Self Certification Update: Creators Now Can Self Certify Two Videos Wrongly Per 90 Days

YouTube rolled out the self-certification feature back in 2020, by which creators were able to certify their video that there is no issue with the video and it is good to go for monetization.
But in many cases, creators would certify wrong videos, which is not suited for monetization. YouTube usually penalizes those actions previously. After self-certification, YouTube algorithms check whether it is correct or not. If they find that the certification has been done wrongly, then the creator would get penalized. But recently, the new update on self-certification is likely to give some relaxation to YouTube creators.
Now, within 90 days, creators can wrongly rate two separate videos without getting penalized. The update came from the Creator Insider YouTube channel through a video. It follows several other updates.

Like, before the latest update, the channel permission option was only available on the desktop creator studio. For various reasons like updating metadata, track analytical reports, many creators share permission with people. Now, this feature will roll out to the YouTube studio Android app as well.
