YouTube rolls out new Self-Certification tool for YouTube Creators
For all YouTube creators, who were facing disabling monetization to their genuine videos now, might get an excellent solution with YouTube’s new Self-Certification tool.
Most YouTube creators often face this issue that a Yellow dollar sign appears, and no ad comes on that video, and no ad means no earnings.
The “Yellow”, and “Green” dollar sign on videos indicates that your videos are complying with the video monetization policies of YouTube or not. So many creators were facing this issue that after uploading their videos the Yellow dollar sign would appear and no advertisement would come on the videos.
YouTube, marks videos with the Yellow sign, which they think is not suitable for advertisers or advertisers might not want to show their advertisement on those videos.
The green dollar sign indicates that the videos are ok to monetize and have no such thing, which is restricted by YouTube.
After getting the Yellow sign on videos, creators had to contact YouTube to review their videos, and if everything is okay, they again would receive the green sign to their videos.
The whole process would run by human review but due to the COVID-19 outbreak, YouTube already mentioned that they are working with a limited workforce, so creators might face several problems.
This time with this Self-Certification tool allows creators to monetize their videos of their own, which were demonetized. Creators can monetize their all-new videos as well as their old demonetized videos by this YouTube Self-Certification tool. Previously when demonetized videos would review manually, it would take several hours or even more. But now, as it is up to the creators, they can monetize their videos. But still, they need to abide by YouTube video policy guidelines for creating videos.
As most of the system on YouTube is running on artificial intelligence due to the COVID-19, this new tool would be beneficial for creators.
However, YouTube introduced this tool to some creators till now through mails and shortly more YouTube creators likely to get this excellent feature.
