Xiaomi Has Launched Their MI 8 Pro And Mi 8 Lite In China

Yesterday Xiaomi expanded their MI 8 Smartphone family by launching two new phones MI Pro and MI Lite (also rumored as Mi 8X) in Chengdu, China.

Mi 8 Pro Specifications:

Xiaomi Mi 8 Pro comes with 6.21-inch FULL HD+ AMOLED notched display with the resolution of 2248 x 1080p, a screen-to-body ratio of 83.8 percent. It comes with a pressure-sensitive screen fingerprint scanner.

At the back, the MI 8 Pro has 12MP+ 12MP dual rear cameras with 1.4-micron pixels, 4 axes optical image stabilization and face detection autofocus. The camera setup is with the wide-angle lens and a telephoto-lens with f/1.8 and f/2.4 aperture and an LED flash. The front is with a 20MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.

The Xiaomi MI 8 Pro equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.

The device supports Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band with Wi-Fi, USB type-C.

The phone is fueled by 3400 mAh battery.

MI 8 Lite specifications:

Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite has a 6.26 inch IPS LCD with a resolution of 2280*1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. The Mi 8 Lite has a standard fingerprint scanner on the rear.

At the back, the Xiaomi MI 8 Lite has a 12MP +5MP dual rear camera set up. The camera setup with dual pixel lens with f/1.9 aperture rate and a second depth sensor lens with f/ 2.0 aperture rate. At the front, there is a 24MP front camera with 0.9-micron pixel sensor.

This phone is powered by 3350 mAh battery and an octa-core Snapdragon 660 processor. The connectivity features are Bluetooth 5.0, dual-band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C, A-GPS.

Pricing of these Smartphones:

The pricing of the phone MI 8 Pro is CNY 3200(€ 400, Rs 33,800) for the 6 GB/128 GB model and CNY 3600(€ 450, Rs 38,000) for the 8GB/128 GB model.

The pricing of Xiaomi MI 8 Lite is CNY 1399(€ 175, Rs 14,800) for the 4GB/64 GB model, CNY1700 (€ 210, Rs 18,000) for the 6 GB/64 GB model and CNY 2000(€ 250, Rs 21,000) for the 6GB/128GB model.

The Xiaomi MI 8 pro is more expensive within this two Smartphones, and that’s it to see that in what pricing Xiaomi launches the smartphones in India.

Availability: The MI 8 Pro is available in white, blue, gold and black color variants and the device will go on sale on September 21.

The Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite is available in two gradient color finishes – Blue and Purple, as well as Orange and Yellow and, will start shipping on September 25.
