Xiaomi confirms Mi 11 Lite India launch set for June 22

Xiaomi has confirmed that the Mi 11 Lite will be launched in India on June 22. The smartphone maker has confirmed it through social media posts. The Mi 11 Lite was launched alongside the Mi 11 Ultra and Mi 11i globally back in March. The phone has a 4G and 5G variant but Xiaomi is yet to reveal which variant is coming to India.

Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain posted on Twitter that the Mi 11 Lite will launch in the country on June 22 at 12 pm (noon). However, as of now, it is unclear if there will a virtual event for the launch or will just be an announcement.

Mi 11 Lite (global variant) specifications:

Mi 11 Lite has already been launched in China and few other global markets. It features a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC and paired with up to 8GB of RAM.

Mi 11 Lite 5G and 4G have the same set of cameras headlined by a 64MP primary camera with an f/1.79 aperture, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 5MP macro camera. The 5G variant has a 20MP selfie camera while the 4G model gets a 16MP front-facing camera.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5.1, NFC, GPS, and a USB Type-C port. In terms of battery, it has a 4,250mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging. In addition, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner as well.

Mi 11 Lite price (expected):

The device is available with six color options in China: Black, Pink, Blue, Green, Yellow, and White. In China, it costs Yuan 2,299 (around Rs 26,238) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant is priced at Yuan 2,599 (around Rs 29,662). We hope the phone could be priced under Rs. 25,000 in India.
