Vivo Y53s launched in Vietnam with MediaTek Helio G80 SoC
Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched a new Y-series smartphone called Vivo Y53s in Vietnam. The phone is a budget-friendly offering and is slightly different from the Vivo Y53s 5G. It comes with some highlighted features such as; triple rear camera, standard 60Hz display refresh rate, and MediaTek Helio G80 SoC Processor.

The phone features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC processor, paired with 8GB of RAM. In terms of storage, Vivo Y53s has 128GB of onboard storage that supports expansion via microSD. It runs on Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.
Coming to the camera features, the Y53s packs a triple rear camera setup that includes a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/.79 lens, a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 macro lenses, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. At the front, the phone comes with a 16-megapixel selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video chats.
In terms of battery, the phone is fuelled by a massive 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charge technology. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, a micro-USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and supports face unlock as well.

Vivo Y53s is priced in Vietnam at VND 6,990,000 (Approx Rs. 22,700) for the sole 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The phone is offered in Black Green and Blue Purple colors options. However, there is no information on when the phone will go on sale in Vietnam or if it will come to other international markets including India.
