Vivo Y33s launched in India with 50MP primary camera: Know the price, specifications, and more

Chinese smartphone brand Vivo has launched its latest Y-series mid-range smartphone called, Vivo Y33s in India. The device has come less than a week after launching the Vivo Y21 in the country. The highlight specification of the phone has a slim design with a total of 8.0 mm thickness. It also comes with a 50MP triple rear camera setup and is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G80 SoC.

The phone features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,408 pixels) LCD display with a notch for the selfie camera. The Vivo Y33s is powered by the MediaTek Helio G80 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and 4GB of extended RAM. The device is running Funtouch OS 11.1 based on Android 11.
In terms of photography, the Vivo Y33s packs a triple rear camera setup that includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro shooter, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Vivo claims to have used a “Super Night algorithm with noise reduction technology” on the main sensor, to deliver better photos even in low-light conditions. At the front, that houses a 16-megapixel sensor for selfie and video calling.
Other notable features on the Vivo Y33s include dual-band Wi-Fi, 4G, Bluetooth v5, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. It also has a side button-mounted physical fingerprint sensor, as well as face, unlock via the front camera.

The Vivo Y33s is priced at Rs 17,990 and is being introduced in a single variant featuring 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It is offered in Midday Dream and Mirror Black colors. The phone is available for purchase via Vivo India E-store, Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm, and all partner retail stores.
