The couple aims to raise Rs. 7 crores Covid relief fund in India through this campaign, and they have donated Rs. 2 crores. #InThisTogether will run for seven days on Ketto and the proceeds raised will be directed to ACT Grants, the implementation partner for this campaign. ACT will provide oxygen, medical manpower, vaccination awareness, and telemedicine facilities all through the pandemic and the amount raised by Anushka and Virat will aid the work.
Kohli was recently seen in action in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he led Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, now IPL 2021 has been postponed after several players across teams tested positive for Covid-19.
