Vijay Antony’s ‘Kodiyil Oruvan’ to release in theatres on September 17

The makers of Vijay Antony’s upcoming ‘Kodiyil Oruvan’ have revealed that their film is all set to hit theatres on September 17. The film is a political thriller directed by Ananda Krishnan of Metro fame. The film has ‘Meesaya Murukku’ actress Aathmika playing the female lead in the film. The makers wrapped up the film’s shooting early this year amid Covid-19 restrictions.

Aathmika took to Twitter to share a new poster, featuring Vijay Antony, to announce the film’s release date.

Aathmika shared a new poster and wrote, “. @vijayantony’s #KodiyilOruvan – An All Class Commercial Entertainer in Theatres worldwide from 17th September. #KodiyilOruvanfromSep17 (sic).”

The Telugu version of Kodiyil Oruvan has been titled, Vijaya Raghavan. After wrapping up Kodiyil Oruvan, the actor has started shooting Pichaikaran 2.
