Vidyut Jammwal announces his new film ‘Sher Singh Raana’
Bollywood actor Vidyut Jammwal is now going to essay the role of a fierce Rajput in the upcoming biopic titled, ‘Sher Singh Raana’.
On Monday, March 28, Vidyut announced it official via social media by sharing the first poster of the film. The film is directed by Shree Narrayan Singh and produced by Vinod Bhanushali.
Taking to his official Twitter handle Vidyut Jammwal has shared the poster of the film and wrote, “It’s time to be #SherSinghRaana (sic).!”

As per a statement, the movie is a thriller that will tell the story of Sher Singh Rana, a Rajput, who became a worldwide name when he brought back the remains of Prithviraj Chauhan, ruler of the Chauhan Dynasty, from Kandahar, Afghanistan.
The biopic on Sher Singh Raana is produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Kamlesh Bhanushali & Vishal Gurnani of Bhanushali Studios Ltd, and Vishal Tyagi & Mohammed Imran Khan of Matargashti Films.
As of now, more details about the cast and crew of the biopic remain under wraps.
Meanwhile, on the professional front, Vidyut has last seen in ‘Sanak’ opposite Rukmini Maitra. Besides ‘Sher Singh Raana’, the actor is all set to reprise his role as Sameer Chaudhary in Faruk Kabir’s directorial ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter II’. He also has ‘IB71’ in the pipeline.
