Veteran actor Salim Ghouse passes away at 70
Popular Veteran actor Salim Ghouse passed away today (April 28) at the age of 70. As per the report, he has died due to cardiac arrest.
Born in Chennai on January 10, 1952, Salim started his acting journey in 1978 with the movie Swarg Narak.
He has been a part of several films across all languages, TV shows, and also as a dubbing artist.
Salim Ghouse also played several roles, which were loved by the audience. Rama, Krishna, and Tipu Sultan in Shyam Benegal’s TV series Bharat Ek Khoj were some of them. When it comes to films, Salim was part of Manthan, Kalyug, Chakra, Saaransh, Mohan Joshi Hazir Ho, Trikal, Aghaat, Drohi, Thiruda Thiruda, Sardari Begum, Koyla, Soldier, and others.
He also had dubbed for the role of Scar in the Hindi version of 1995 The Lion King.
In 1993, he did a villain role in Mani Ratnam’s film, Thiruda Thiruda.
