Venus Remedies Bags Asia’s Best Employer Brand Award In Two Categories

Mumbai: In an emphatic endorsement of its laudable employee-centric HR policies, Venus Remedies Ltd, one of India’s leading research-driven pharmaceutical companies, has bagged the coveted Asia’s Best Employer Brand Award in two categories. While Dr Manu Chaudhary, Joint Managing Director, Venus Remedies, has won the Woman at Work Leadership Award in the individual section, the company has also bagged the organisation category Award for Managing Health at Work.

Introduced by the Employer Branding Institute, these awards are recognised as a benchmark throughout the world in best practices followed by employers comprising leading corporates across the continent.

Dr Manu Chaudhary led by example to win the Woman at Work Leadership Award not only for her exemplary achievements in the field of research but also for proficiently guiding a team of over 400 people spread across 20 departments.

A personification of women empowerment and leadership tradition at Venus Remedies, Dr Chaudhary has an exhaustive track record of enriching the company’s intellectual wealth. Having 25 years of experience in the development and commercialisation of breakthrough anti-infective, anti-cancer and pain management products, she has over 100 patents and 150 research papers in peer-reviewed journals to her credit. Her pioneering solutions for drug-resistant bacterial infections, based on the concepts of Antibiotic Adjuvant Entities and Stealth Targeted Nanoparticles, are globally acclaimed.

Over the past 25 years, Dr Chaudhary has not only led a team of proficient scientists to enhance the company’s product portfolio but has has also introduced the latest technologies to drive game-changing process improvements. Under her dynamic leadership, the company’s production capacity increased by three times in the first quarter of 2021 itself.

Apart from taking the lead in arranging a vaccination drive in its premises and setting up quarantine facilities for the workforce, it also announced a Covid protection policy for employees and their immediate family members.
