Varun Tej’s Ghani is to release in cinemas on February 25

Actor Varun Tej starrer Telugu sports drama ‘Ghani’ is scheduled to release theatrically on February 25, the makers announced on Tuesday. The film, presented by producer Allu Aravind, has been pushed multiple times due to the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier, the ‘Ghani’ team was said that the film will either release on February 25 or March 4. Of the two release dates, the makers have now finalized one.

The 32-year-old actor Varun took to his social media handles to announce the film’s release date with a new poster.

“3 years of our blood & sweat. The time has finally come to earn your respect on February 25th! See you in theatres!” Varun tweeted.

‘Ghani’ is a boxing-based sports drama, written and directed by Kiran Korrapati. Apart from Varun Tej, Saiee Manjrekar, Jagapathi Babu, Upendra, Suniel Shetty, and Naveen Chandra play supporting roles. The film is bankrolled by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Varun Tej also has F3 in the pipeline.
