Varun Tej’s ‘Ghani’ gets a special concession from the Telangana govt

Ahead of Varun Tej’s ‘Ghani’ release, the Telangana government gave a special concession to the filmmakers, as per the report. The government has agreed to reduce the ticket prices for ‘Ghani’. The change in decision comes after small films failed to benefit when the ticket prices were hiked during the release of SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’.

As per the latest order, the tickets are priced at Rs 200 + GST in multiplexes and Rs 150 + GST on single screens.

Directed by Kiran Korrapati, ‘Ghani’ is a boxing-based sports drama in which Varun Tej will be seen essaying the role of a boxer. The film also features Nadhiya, Upendra, Jagapathi Babu, Suneil Shetty, Saiee Manjrekar, Naresh, and Naveen Chandra in supporting roles. The film is bankrolled by Renaissance Pictures and Allu Bobby Company.

The film ‘Ghani’ is slated to release in theatres on April 8.
