The teaser of Dhanush’s bilingual film Vaathi is out

On the occasion of Dhanush’s birthday, the makers of his next bilingual film titled ‘Vaathi’ in Tamil and ‘Sir’ in Telugu released the teaser of the film.

The one-minute teaser features Dhanush as a junior lecturer and the film seems to focus on the subject of education being used as a business. Directed by Venky Atluri, the teaser also manages to show the importance of education, the exploitation of teachers, and the higher fees system.

Sharing the teaser, the makers wrote, “Education is more than about books, marks and results.”

On Wednesday, the makers released the first look poster of the film, featuring Dhanush sitting on a chair, as he writes something, against the backdrop of what looks to be a library.

‘Vaathi’ will see Dhanush and Samyuktha Menon in lead roles. The film is being directed by Venky Atluri. Vaathi’s music has been composed by GV Prakash Kumar and the editing by Navin Nooli.

The film is produced jointly by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Soujanya under the banners of Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.
