Thala Ajith’s Valimai to release on Pongal 2022, confirms Boney Kapoor
Thala Ajith’s one of the most anticipated films Valimai is all set to release in theatres on Pongal 2022. On September 22, producer Boney Kapoor took to social media to confirm Valimai’s release date.
His tweet read, “Happy to announce that #Valimai will hit the screens on Pongal 2022. #ValimaiFromPongal #ValimaiPongal #Valimai (sic).”

Ajith wrapped up the entire shoot of Valimai in Russia last month. Valimai is a cop drama in which Ajith plays the role of a police officer. Apart from Ajith, the film features Kartikeya Gummakonda, Huma Qureshi, Yogi Babu, Sumitra, and Pugazh in important roles.
The film is directed by H Vinoth. Valimai is jointly produced by Zee Studios and Bayview Projects LLP. Cinematographer Nirav Shah, editor Vijay Velukutty, and music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja form the technical crew.
