Taapsee Pannu’s Dobaaraa to premiere at London Film Festival on June 23

Filmmaker Anurag Kashyap’s new-age thriller ‘Dobaaraa’ starring Taapsee Pannu is all set to premiere at London Film Festival on June 23.

The film is scheduled to release on August 19. The director-actor duo will present the film at the opening night Gala of LIFF 2022 on June 23.

Taapsee shared the news on her Instagram handle, and the caption read, “The highly anticipated DOBAARAA, directed by @anuragkashyap10 and starring award winning actress @taapsee will premiere at the opening night! The film is a testament of its new-age, cutting edge narrative being wholly loved and applauded all over the world!”

The film also stars Pavail Gulati who earlier shared screen space with Taapsee in ‘Thappad’.

For the unversed, Anurag Kashyap’s directorial venture, ‘Dobaaraa’, is the official Hindi adaption of Oriol Paulo’s 2018 Spanish-language film Mirage. It has been jointly produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Cult Movies and Sunir Khetarpal’s ATHENA.
