Taapsee Pannu announces first project ‘Blurr’ under her production house Outsiders Films

Right after announcing the launch of her production house, Outsider Films, actress Taapsee Pannu has now unveiled the poster of her first film as a producer. The thriller, titled ‘Blurr’, will be helmed by director Ajay Bahl, who is best known for his film ‘Section 375’ and ‘BA Pass’.

Making the big announcement, Taapsee tweeted, “And here’s the first one of the slate. The chill to match the thrill ! #BLURR! @ZeeStudios_ #OutsidersFilms & @echelonmumbai come together for an edge of the seat thriller. Directed by #AjayBahl. @itsvishal_rana @pranjalnk #PawanSony (sic).”

Blurr is jointly written by Pawan Sony and Ajay Bahl. After delivering many successful thrillers herself, Taapsee Pannu is turning a producer with her partner Pranjal Khandhdiya from Outsider Films. Blurr is jointly produced by Outsider Films and Vishal Rana’s Echelon Productions.

Talking about the film’s first look Shariq Patel, Chief Business Officer of Zee Studios expressed his happiness and said, “We are happy to share the first look of our project with the audience. It’s exciting to see Taapsee and Ajay, two of the most creative people come together to create magic with Blurr. The script is unique and highly engaging, and we are all looking forward to the journey ahead.”

On the work front, Taapsee was last seen in the Netflix film ‘Haseen Dillruba’, which also starred Vikrant Massey and Harshvardhan Rane in the lead. She has the Telugu film ‘Mishan Impossible’ with Swaroop RSJ in her kitty. She also has ‘Rashmi Rocket’, ‘Looop Lapeta’, and ‘Shabaash Mithu’ in the pipeline.
