After rain ruled out their final warm-up game against New Zealand, Team India reached Melbourne on Thursday.
India will open their Super 12 campaign against arch-rivals Pakistan at the Iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on October 23.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma & Co received a heartwarming welcome upon their arrival in the city. The Indian skipper met them with a big smile on his face, clicked selfies, and of course, cut the cake brought by his fans.
“A warm Bharat Army welcome for @ImRo45 and the rest of #TeamIndia. Best of luck lads, we will be with you all the way,” the Bharat Army caption the video.
