SS Rajamouli’s RRR will not be postponed, makers stick the release date on 7th Jan, 2022

After a lengthy wait, SS Rajamouli’s much-anticipated film ‘RRR’ has been given a release date, and it will be released on January 7, 2022. However, because of an increase of Omicron cases in India, rumors were circulating that the Jr NTR and Ram Charan starrer film’s release may be delayed.

Now clearing all speculations around the release of this star-studded movie the makers have now confirmed that the film will be released on January 7 next year.

Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh Tweeted and wrote, “#Xclusiv… BREAKING NEWS… ‘RRR’ VERY MUCH ON 7 JAN 2022… SS RAJAMOULI OFFICIAL STATEMENT TO ME… No postponement (sic).”

‘RRR’ is set in the pre-independence era and is inspired by real freedom fighters Alluri Sitarama Raju (played by Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Jr NTR). Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Olivia Morris will be seen in pivotal roles in the movie, while Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, and Alison Doody join in as supporting roles.
