Sidharth Malhotra to star in Karan Johar action franchise Yodha, film to release on November 2022

After a successful collaboration in Shershaah, actor Sidharth Malhotra has once again joined hands with Karan Johar for his next movie. The actor is set to star Karan’s Dharma Productions’ first action film franchise ‘Yodha,’ the makers announced Thursday.

The film will be directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha. Taking to Twitter, Karan Johar Dharma Production has unveiled the motion poster and the first look of Sidharth Malhotra from the film.

In the motion poster, Sidharth can be seen in a flight with a gun as passengers in the background are scared for their lives. It seems he is going to save the day with his heroism. The movie seems to be based on an aeroplane hijack story. It is in the prep stage and is expected to take off soon.

Making the announcement about the new film, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions wrote, “Conquered the peaks, now it’s time for the sky! Presenting #Yodha, starring Sidharth Malhotra and directed by our new talented duo – Sagar Ambre & Pushkar Ojha. Landing to cinemas near you on 11th November, 2022 (sic).”

According to several media reports, ‘Yodha’ will star Disha Patani and Raashi Khanna. Meanwhile, Sidharth will also be collaborating with filmmaker Rohit Shetty for a cop-based web series. Reportedly, the web series will premiere on Amazon Prime Video. The actor will also be seen in films like ‘Mission Majnu’ and ‘Thank God’.
