Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey second trailer out, film to be release on April 14

Almost four months after releasing the first trailer of ‘Jersey’, today the makers have released the second trailer of the film. The movie features Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the leading roles.

In the trailer, Shahid Kapoor as Arjun plays a father to a young son who dreams of playing cricket professionally. Arjun, however, deals with his own past of being a failed cricketer as he navigates his married life whilst being jobless.

Taking to his Twitter Sahid has shared the YouTube link to the trailer of ‘Jersey’ and wrote, “Experience his many emotions! Meet Arjun on the 14th! #JerseyTrailer out now (sic).”

The film also stars veteran actor Pankaj Kapur and the father-son duo will be seen sharing screen space for the first time. Shahid and Mrunal’s film Jersey is an official Hindi remake of the Telugu film of the same name.

Jersey is produced by Allu Entertainment, Dil Raju Production, Sithara Entertainments, and Brat Films.

Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on 14 April, 2022.
