Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey first song Mehram released

After getting a tremendous response on the trailer the makers have finally released the first song of Shahid Kapoor starrer Jersey, titled Mehram. Mehram has been composed by Sachet-Parampara, and sung by Sachet with lyrics by Shellee.

The song ‘Mehram’ gives glimpses of Shahid’s character’s emotional journey, making a return to the field of cricket all over again and his training sessions. It also glimpses of his relationship with Mrunal Thakur, who plays the role of his wife in the film.

Sharing the song Mehram on social media Shahid Kapoor wrote, “#Mehram… the loving comforter. The heart of our film. Hope you feel the depth of its emotion. Presenting our first song from #Jersey. Releasing in theatres on 31st December 2021(sic).”

Jersey is a remake of the Telugu original which starrer Nani in the lead role. Presented by Allu Aravind, the movie has been directed by the National Award-winning filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri, who directed the original Telugu Jersey, and is produced by Aman Gill, Dil Raju, and S Naga Vamsi.

The film is all set to hit theatres on December 31, 2021.
