Samsung Galaxy M53 5G launch confirmed in India on April 22: Check expected specifications

South Korean tech giant Samsung is set to launch its Galaxy M53 5G smartphone in India on April 22. The company has shared a teaser to reveal the launch date of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy M53 5G. The new 5G Samsung phone was released globally earlier this month. The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is expected to feature a 108MP primary rear camera, a 120Hz Super AMOLED+ display, a hole-punch display design, and supports 25W fast charging. This phone is the successor to the Galaxy M52 5G, which debuted in India last year.

The smartphone is expected to sport a 6.7-inch FHD+ Infinity-O Super AMOLED+ display with support for a 120Hz screen refresh rate. The smartphone will be powered by an unnamed octa-core SoC.

In terms of camera, the Samsung Galaxy M53 5G is expected to come with a quad rear camera setup that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, the smartphone could include a 32MP sensor at the front.

In terms of connectivity, the handset includes 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, a USB Type-C port, and more. For security, the phone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Samsung could pack a 5,000mAh battery on this phone which supports 25W fast charging.
