Samsung Galaxy A72 starts getting August 2021 Android security update

Samsung has started rolling out the Android 2021 security update for its Galaxy A72 smartphone.

The update arrived soon after the Galaxy A52 update rollout which was surprisingly followed by Galaxy A8. The update is currently being rolled out in select regions that include Russia, Ukraine, and some nearby regions. A wider rollout is expected to happen very shortly.

The Android security patch carries firmware number A725FXXU3AUG2.

According to the report, apart from the security patch, the update also carries some bug fixes.

In the previous update, the Samsung Galaxy A72 has been got a couple of features to the smartphone such as camera update, call quality improvement, face recognition improvements, and more. Now, the August 2021 Android security update could bring some more benefits to the phone.
