Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Shaakuntalam trailer to release on this date, see the new poster
On Friday, the makers of Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Dev Mohan’s ‘Shaakuntalam’ have announced the trailer release date along with a new poster. ‘Shaakuntalam’ trailer will be unveiled on January 9 at 12:06 pm. The film is based on a popular Indian play titled Shakuntala, written by Kalidasa. While Samantha plays the role of Shakuntala, Dev Mohan will be seen as King Dushyant.
The official Twitter handle of Gunaa Teamworks shared a new poster of ‘Shaakuntalam’ and announced the release of its trailer.

The film ‘Shaakuntalam’ has an ensemble star cast including Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Madhu Bala, Gautami, Jisshu Sengupta, and many other notable actors.
Produced by Neelima Guna, the movie is jointly bankrolled by the banners of Gunaa Teamworks and Sri Venkateswara Creations. Music is composed by Mani Sharma. Directed by Gunasekhar, the film is all set to release on February 17, 2023, in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.
