Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City Trailer Now Available in English and Hindi

On Thursday, Sony Pictures unveiled the first trailer for the upcoming Resident Evil movie, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.

Directed by Johannes Roberts, the film stars Kaya Scodelario, Hannah John-Kamen, Robbie Amell, Tom Hopper, Avan Jogia, Donal Logue, and Neal McDonough, among others.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, which is a reboot of the Resident Evil film series loosely based on the video game series of the same name, will release in India on November 26. The film will release in four Indian languages in the country: English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.

Taking to Twitter, Sony Pictures has been shared the trailer of the movie Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City and wrote, “ALERT from #NYCC: Be the first to witness the origin of Evil in the NEW TRAILER for @ResidentEvil: #WelcomeToRaccoonCity. See it exclusively in movie theaters November 24 (sic).”

The synopsis of the film reads, “Returning to the origins of the massively popular Resident Evil franchise, fan and filmmaker Johannes Roberts brings the games to life for a whole new generation of fans. In Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, once the booming home of pharmaceutical giant Umbrella Corporation, Raccoon City is now a dying Midwestern town. The company’s exodus left the city a wasteland with great evil brewing below the surface. When that evil is unleashed, a group of survivors must work together to uncover the truth behind Umbrella and make it through the night.”

Written and directed by Johannes Roberts, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will release in US theatres on November 24.
