Redmi 11 Prime 5G gets a price cut in India, now available at Rs. 12,999

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has slashed the price of the Redmi 11 Prime 5G in India. The smartphone was launched in September at Rs 13,999. However, now it has received a price cut of Rs 1,000, and so it is now available at a starting price of Rs 12,999 in India. When the Redmi 11 Prime 5G was launched, it came out in two variants, 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of inbuilt storage. It comes in three color options – Chrome Silver, Meadow Green, and Thunder Black.

After the price cut, the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of Redmi 11 Prime 5G will cost Rs 12,999, and the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant will cost Rs 14,999. These are available on Amazon, and on Xiaomi’s official website.

The phone features a 6.58-inch full-HD+ display with up to 90Hz refresh rate. The display has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the Redmi 11 Prime 5G is powered by an octa-core 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage. On the software front, the handset runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 on top.

In terms of optics, the phone has a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP primary lens and another 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, there is an 8MP camera at the front.

The phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. For biometric authentications, the device also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature.
