Ranveer Singh gets a tight hug from Kapil Dev at 83 premiere, Deepika poses with family

Ahead of the release of Ranveer Singh-starrer 83, the film had its grand premiere in Mumbai on Wednesday evening. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone looked gorgeous at the 83 premiere. Ranveer Singh made a stylish entry at the premiere in an all-white ensemble. The actor looked dapper in a white tuxedo which he teamed with uber-cool shades.

While Deepika looked stunning in a black velvet gown, directed by Kabir Khan tells the tale of India’s 1983 World Cup win under Kapil Dev’s captainship.

Deepika and Ranveer clicked a happy picture with their family. Deepika’s mom, Ujjala Padukone, sister Anisha and father Prakash Padukone were clicked at the event.

Ranveer, who plays former Indian captain Kapil Dev in 83, also got a tight hug from Kapil Dev.

Besides Ranveer and Deepika, 83 also stars actors Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Jatin Sarna, Chirag Patil, Dinker Sharma, Nishant Dahiya, Harrdy Sandhu, Sahil Khattar, Ammy Virk, Addinath Kothare, Dhairya Karwa, and R Badree.

The film’s release was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic and it is now all set to hit theatres on December 24.
