Ranju Ki Betiyaan – Vishesh proposes Shalu

Mumbai: Vishesh and Shalu are on their way back home from Ranchi. During their journey, Vishesh stops the car and shows Shalu a wishing tree. They both head towards it, to make a wish and suddenly Vishesh goes down to his knees, admits his love for Shalu, and asks her to marry him. This sudden proposal surprises Shalu and she says yes.

As they were heading back home, Vishesh’s car breaks down and does not work. They try to find help nearby but couldn’t get any. So they both decide to stay in the hotel till the situation becomes better.

While both of them were resting in the room, they hear a commotion in the hotel and see that the police are there and are arresting all the couples staying in the hotel. The police arrest Vishesh and Shalu as well. They both try and give an explanation to the police, but they do not listen. Vishesh then tells them that he is Shalu’s husband.

Ranju Ki Betiyaan is a heart-touching story of a single mother Ranju and her struggles of raising 4 daughters in a patriarchal society. It delves into the various societal issues faced by single mothers, and will witness Ranju empowering herself to raise her four daughters single-handedly to help them achieve their dreams.
