Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal to release theatrically worldwide in August 2023

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor-starrer film ‘Animal’ is set to release in cinemas worldwide on August 11, 2023, the makers announced on Friday. Earlier the film was slated to hit theatres in Dussehra 2022. Besides Ranbir, the film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Parineeti Chopra.

The film is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga who also directed the film, Kabir Singh. The crime drama film, ‘Animal’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar’s T-Series, Pranay Reddy Vanga’s Bhadrakali Pictures, and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios.

Sharing the release date of Animal on social media, producer Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series wrote, “Bhushan Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor & Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s crime drama film, ANIMAL to hit theaters worldwide on 11th August 2023 (sic).”

Ranbir Kapoor is likely to play an intense and dark character in Animal. In the announcement video of the film, the actor talked about his character’s troubled relationship with his father, which ended in gunshots.

Besides this, Ranbir is gearing up for the release of his film Shamshera with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. The film has been awaiting release for a while. Now, it will be released next year on Holi 2022.
