Rakul Preet Singh starrer ‘Chhatriwali’ gets a release date, to stream on OTT
Bollywood actress Rakul Preet Singh on Wednesday announced the release date of her upcoming movie ‘Chhatriwali’ with a motion poster. Directed by Tejas Prabha Vijay Deoskar, the film is slated to release directly on ZEE5 on January 20, 2023.
On January 4, Taking Twitter, Rakul Preet Singh shared the motion poster of ‘Chhatriwali’ and wrote, “No more bunking, it’s time for learning with #Chhatriwali on #ZEE5, premieres 20th Jan (sic).”

Bankrolled by Ronnie Screwvala, the movie also features Sumeet Vyas and Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.
The film ‘Chhatriwali’ aims to drive home a strong social message on the importance of male contraceptives and safe sex. The story is all about a simple shy Haryanvi girl who gets the job of a quality control head in a condom factory. Though she is embarrassed about her job initially, she soon realizes the importance of safe sex.
