Rajinikanth honored by Income Tax Department, daughter Aishwaryaa receives the award

Superstar Rajinikanth, on July 24, was honored by the Income Tax Department. He was recognized as the highest and most prompt taxpayer in Tamil Nadu. His daughter, Aishwaryaa, received the award on behalf of her father from Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan.

On Sunday, Rajinikanth’s daughter Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth took to Instagram and shared the update with the actors’ fans.

Sharing the photos, Aishwaryaa wrote, “Proud daughter of a high and prompt taxpayer. Many thanks to the #incometaxdepartment of Tamilnadu and Puducherry for honouring appa on #incometaxday2022 #onbehalfofmyfather (sic).”

As soon as Aishwaryaa shared the news, fans shouted in the comment section to congratulate Rajinikanth.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Superstar Rajinikanth was last seen in director Siruthai Siva’s ‘Annaatthe’. The actor will be seen next in director Nelson Dilipkumar’s upcoming film titled Jailer. Reportedly, the film will go on floors in August or September in Hyderabad. Sun Pictures will be bankrolling this big-budget commercial entertainer, which will have music scored by Anirudh Ravichander.
